Focus of Practice
Mr. Skryd has more than twenty years of civil litigation experience in areas concerning trucking liability, construction accidents, worker’s compensation, products liability, consumer litigation defense, medical malpractice defense, contract litigation, commercial and premises liability, municipal and public entity liability, and coverage issues.
Mr. Skryd has litigated matters throughout the United States and has been lead counsel in more than two hundred jury, bench and arbitration trials. In addition, he is a court annexed arbitration judge in the State of Illinois.
Mr. Skryd’s insurance defense practice includes the representation of trucking companies, general and subcontractors, employers, national manufacturers and distributors of a wide range of industrial and consumer products, physicians of diverse fields of practice, owners of varied businesses and property, and national insurance carriers.
