Focus of Practice
Mr. Mulherin has over forty years of experience focused primarily in the areas of financial services, corporate law, health care, and specialized litigation.
Mr. Mulherin has represented a number of lenders in the Chicago metropolitan area. In addition to providing day-to-day advice regarding regulatory and documentation matters, Mr. Mulherin has had extensive experience in the preparation of loan documentation for large commercial loans, assisted in work-outs, and prosecuted actions asserting creditor’s remedies.
A significant area of his practice has been in the area of health care law. In that regard, he has represented physician groups, independent practice associations and medical clinics. His work has included matters related to the formation of hospital-physician joint ventures, mergers, and regulatory issues.
Mr. Mulherin’s commercial law experience includes the formation of a variety of corporate entities, real estate, including the prosecution of applications for zoning amendments, the purchase and sale of businesses, and municipal and public entity liability.
